To insulate? or not insulate?
If you’ve already been researching garage doors, you may have noticed some doors come with insulation and some don’t. Insulation costs more but can be well worth it in the long run. It can save you on your next energy bill and keep your garage warmer during the winter.
Garage Door Material
We recommend Steel Garage or Bay Doors because they are solid and durable. We do not typically install wooden or aluminum doors because they are more susceptible to damage and, over time, can be more costly.
Chain Driven Vs. Belt Driven
At the heart of every garage door is the opening mechanism. There are generally two types Chain Driven and Belt Driven. Chain Driven Operators are less costly and are generally louder due to the mechanical noise. On the other hand, Belt Driven Operators are a little more costly and much more quite.
